Deborah - the Tru Brit - has lived and worked in the USA since her early twenties. A graduate of Franklin College in Indiana, Deborah was employed in the mortgage industry for several years before joining UNUM in 1984.

During 16 years with the company she received much recognition including the Chairman's Award, the highest accolade offered to a UNUM employee. Two days after retiring Deborah embarked on her third career - in Real Estate, and won Rookie of the Year in her first year in business.

She joined ReMax By The Bay in 2001 and won the prestigious Platinium Award in recognition of her client service on no fewer than four occasions! The Tru Brit Team continues to grow from strength-to-strength at Keller Williams Realty, Americas fastest expanding Real Estate Agency.

Deborah has been married to Tom for +30 years and they currently reside in South Portland. She is on the Board of Directors of CrossRoads for Women - a residence facility for women recovering from drug or alcohol addiction. Additionally, Deborah is a member of the Portland Board of Realtors, the Women's Council of Realtors and the Portland Museum of Art, and serves on the Keller Williams Agent Leadership Council.

Deborah A Meek - Broker

Deborah - a Tru Brit too - worked for several years as a civilian with the United States Air Force and was latterly a director of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation. During this time Deborah helped thousands of service personnel and their families become aclimatized and settle in to new surroundings around the world.

After moving back to her native England in 1990, she worked as a regional sales director with both Chrysalis and Capital Radio - the biggest broadcasting organisation in Europe.

Deborah returned to the US with her husband Jon and daughter Magdalene in 2003 and set up Real Estate practice at Keller Williams.

She is a member of the Portland Board of Realtors and serves on the Agent Leadership Council (ALC) at Keller Williams, a role reserved for the top 20% of sales producers.

Additionally, Deborah is on the board of the Root Cellar in Portland.

Tom Coward - Legal Director, Associate Broker 

Tom attended Franklin College and Indiana University. He received his J.D. in 1981 from the University of Maine School of Law.

In his role of Legal Director, Tom performs all the due diligence for the Tru Brit Team. A former member and chair of the South Portland Zoning Board of Appeals.

As an additional service to our clients, Tom speaks fluent French.

Jon Meek - Marketing Director, Associate Broker 

Jon hails from London originally and graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in England after which he worked for several years in the media as a journalist, radio anchor and producer and public relations.

Jon fulfills the role of Marketing Director for the Tru Brit Team. He is a board member of Positive 89.3 radio. A USSF licensed soccer coach, Jon is currently the assistant girls varsity coach at Waynflete School in Portland and also trains and coaches at the premier level.

Francesca attended the University of Southern Maine before coming an underwriter at MEMIC in Portland. Her real estate career began in 2001, when she worked as an Asset Manager for Northern New England Housing Investment Fund: a private non-profit corporation providing equity capital and consulting to affordable housing developers throughout Maine and New Hampshire. In 2005, she acquired her real estate license and joined the Tru Brit Team in 2008.

Asha - Head of Security

 I am a very friendly Bull Mastif who loves to supervise Tom. I constantly win the "Clean Plate Award" and I founded the "100 pound lap dog" club ... oh, and everybody loves me!
